Walla Walla Solar Farm CCTV Tender Details Released.

Walla Walla Solar Farm CCTV Tender – Gransolar Construction has released details of tenders for Walla Walla Solar farm, Australia’s largest, capable of powering 90,000 homes.

The solar farm will have a 300-megawatt capacity and will be connected to the electricity network via the existing transmission line that runs parallel.

Located in the south-east Riverina region in NSW. Walla Walla is the closest town to the project site and provides social and community infrastructure for residents within the region.

The scope of works relating to electrical and physical security consists of security fencing, access control, alarms and automation, and a CCTV system, with an SCADA/monitoring system that may require some integration.

The construction phase of Walla Walla Solar Farm is anticipated to last approximately 16 to 20 months from the commencement of site establishment work expected in Q4 2022. Note, the CCTV tender closes in January 2024, while the security control (access, alarms, automation) tender closes December 2024.

Security in solar farms is a growing vertical with plenty of expansionj to come. GlobalData reports Australia’s solar capacity has exceeded 30GW on the way to a projected 80GW by 2030.
