Western Downs Council CCTV Maintenance and Monitoring – Western Downs Regional Council has released a tender seeking CCTV maintenance and monitoring.
Western Downs Regional Council operates an Indigo Vision CCTV system spanning the townships of Chinchilla, Dalby, and Tara. This system comprises of over 100 cameras and 11 network video recorders (NVRS) across various locations.
The Council is seeking a partnership with a qualified security integrator to conduct annual inspections of council’s CCTV system, which includes cleaning devices to obtain optimal image quality day or night, assessing for damage, wear, and tear, and other operational issues and identifying and reporting any components requiring repair and replacement.
The integrator is also required to provide ongoing support services as needed – such as assisting with repair or replacement of faulty or irreparable components and providing advice and guidance on various aspects of CCTV systems, including camera technologies, installation (coverage, etc), license plate recognition, and cloud-based camera and video management systems options.
Integrators should note that the number of cameras under the CCTV inspection and maintenance agreement may change over time, with potential additions or removals and the contract will include any costs associated with adding additional cameras at additional sites.
