BGW Technologies Flexes For SecTech – BGW Technologies’ planned SecTech product line up is proving to be impressive with the addition of a new range of devices from Alarm.com.

The group is headed by Alarm.com’s very flexible FlexIO sensor. This lithium battery operated, IP56 weatherproof sensor has been designed for self-monitoring of property and assets.

The beauty of this device is its ability to be installed in many ways including:

• Contact sensor option allows the Flex to be used with a built-in reed switch to monitor if the asset is opened or closed
• Wired contact sensor supports a wired contact sensor allowing installer to wire a contact sensor to the Flex using the loop input terminal
• Pull-apart sensor enables the Flex using a pull-apart or Magnapull sensor, determining if something is moved from its location
• Gate Control works when FlexIO is installed with an Alarm.com gate controller
• Virtual Sensor is created when integrated with an Qolsys IQ security panel.
