Milestone Systems Appoints Peter Bartzios – Milestone Systems has appointed Peter Bartzios as a key account manager for the South Pacific region.
The appointment supports Milestone’s strategy to deepen its engagement with large organisations and infrastructure operators, where video increasingly needs to work alongside access control, analytics and other business and security systems.
Based in Sydney, Bartzios brings decades of experience spanning strategic sales, integrated security platforms and enterprise solutions. His background includes working on large-scale infrastructure opportunities including Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport Line and helping customers address complex security requirements across demanding operational environments.
Jordan Cullis, director for South Pacific and country manager at Milestone Systems said Bartzios’ experience would strengthen the company’s ability to support customers navigating complex projects across the region.
“Major infrastructure and enterprise projects require a clear understanding of the customer’s operating environment, the different stakeholders involved and how technology will support their needs over many years,” Cullis said.

Milestone Systems Appoints Peter Bartzios
In his new role, Bartzios will focus on developing relationships with major end users, builders, consultants and Milestone’s partner ecosystem. He will work with these stakeholders to identify opportunities for open-platform video technology to support security, operational visibility and long-term infrastructure needs.
Bartzios’ focus will include helping customers consider video requirements earlier in the planning and design process, supporting an integrated approach that can evolve as sites expand and operational priorities change.
Milestone’s open-platform approach allows organisations to bring together video management, cameras, analytics and complementary technologies, giving customers flexibility in how they develop and extend their systems.
For large infrastructure operators, that flexibility can support a consistent approach across multiple locations while accommodating different site requirements and existing technology investments.
Bartzios said the opportunity to combine his enterprise security experience with Milestone’s technology and partner ecosystem was a key attraction.
“The projects I have worked on have reinforced how important it is to understand the whole environment right across the people, the infrastructure, the operational pressures and the systems that need to work together,” Bartzios said.
