New 2N IP Style Intercom – New 2N IP Style Intercom from Axis Communications features a 10-inch touchscreen, the powerful Axis ARTPEC-7 processor, a full HD camera and WaveKey technology for touchless access.
2N IP Style Intercom can now automatically detect faces in the camera’s frame and will zoom in to give users a clearer image of who’s at their door. Meanwhile, WaveKey technology offers authentication times of less than 1 second using more recent phones (Android 6 and higher, iOS 12 and higher).
2N IP Styles features bi-directional video that allows hearing-impaired visitors to communicate with the receptionist via sign language, and it comes with a self-disinfecting coating that kills more than 99 per cent of all viruses and bacteria it contacts.
This is a robust solution rated IP65 against dust and water and IK08 against impact. There are multiple authentication options – these include using a mobile phone for WaveKey, using a range of RFID cards up to 13.56MHz, a PIN code or a QR code.
The camera offers a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920 at a frame rate of 30ips. It has a viewing angle of 144 degrees horizontal and 126 degrees vertical, IR light, Axis Forensic WDR and compression options include H.264, H.265, MJPEG and Axis Zipstream.
2N IP Style has a 1280 x 800 pixel TFT screen displaying a viewing angle of 170 degrees that features a numeric keypad, and a 2 mode directory for commercial and residential supporting a maximum of 10,000 users.
This intercome is Bluetooth 5.0 LE compliant, has comms secured by RSA-1024 and AES-128 encryption, deploys SIP (UDP, TCP, TLS) protocols, and its duplex audio system features a pair of built-in microphones, speakers with auto adaptive volume control and G.711, G.729, G.722, L16/16kHz audio compression codecs for recording.
New 2N IP Style intercom can be supported by 12V DC supplies or PoE+ and features an RJ-45 interface, NC/NO contacts, an active switch output, a passive/active input and an intercom tamper switch.
The unit has a cover of hardened white glass, an operating temperature or -30C to 60C, a weight of 1950g, is rated IP65 against dust and water and IK08 against impact. Its surface mounted dimensions are 170mm wide x 355mm high x 40mm deep, while flush-mounted dimensions are 170mm wide x 355mm high x 22mm deep.
