New Salto XS4 One S Keypad – Salto’s new XS4 One S keypad expands the XS4 One product line with a compact, keypad-enabled access control solution.
The XS4 One S features a capacitive touch keypad which provides PIN-based authentication, as well as keycard and mobile access, increasing flexibility for various security applications. The backlit design ensures usability in low-light environments, making it suitable for commercial and residential installations.
The XS4 One S keypad is compatible with Salto’s proprietary SVN data-on-card and BLUEnet wireless technologies, allowing integration with online access control systems while maintaining standalone functionality. The unit is designed for easy installation on Euro, Scandinavian, and ANSI-standard mortise locks.
Salto’s access control platforms, including Salto Space, Salto KS, and Salto Homelok, support the XS4 One S keypad, enabling remote management, event logging, and audit trails. Users can configure multi-factor authentication by combining PIN codes with keycards or mobile access, to deliver higher security levels.
Housing dimensions are 290 x 67 x 20mm, door thicknesses supported are 32–120mm, power source is 3 AA batteries, there’s a reversible handle for left or right escutcheon, and a clutch mechanism escutcheon so that when unlocked the handle moves freely through 52 degrees.
There’s a mechanical key and override option and square spindles are available in 7mm, 7.6mm split (Australia), 8mm, 8mm split (Euro & ANSI), 9mm and 9mm split designs.
