Bosch Radionics Updates Solution Series – Bosch Radionics has released updated Solution Series alarm panels, with availability scheduled from May.
The latest updates include a new LCD icon keypad alongside upgraded wireless receivers designed to enhance performance, usability, and system reliability across the Bosch Solution Series.
The newly released IUI SOL ICON 2 keypad represents a significant step forward in user interface design for the Solution 2000, 3000 and 4000 control panels. Available from May, IUI SOL ICON 2 serves as a direct replacement for the earlier model, ensuring a seamless transition for installers and end users.
The new generation brings a refreshed, more contemporary look and several functional upgrades aimed at improving day to day operation. Key enhancements include a magnetic protective door, a cleaner LCD icon display for clearer status indication, adjustable keypad volume, and an integrated night light (dim) mode designed for low light environments.
For simplified system control, the keypad also supports single button arming and disarming, as well as built-in fire, medical and panic alarm functions, offering users direct access to emergency signalling.
Bosch Radionics Updates Solution Series
Alongside the new keypad, Radionix has introduced 2 updated wireless receivers, including the B812 and RFRC STR3, each bringing performance improvements aimed at boosting reliability and expanding coverage within RADION wireless deployments.
Both receivers feature a 20 per cent improvement in signal strength, achieved through enhanced RF design and operation at 433.42 MHz, delivering stronger penetration, reduced interference and more consistent site coverage. Bosch has also incorporated an upgraded microcontroller platform and integrated RF switching for increased system stability and improved long-term reliability.
The new-generation receivers also support cleaner single event panic reporting, a change that reduces duplicate signals and improves event management across monitoring environments.
B812 is compatible with Bosch Solution 3000 and 4000 control panels and is suited to a wide range of residential and light commercial installations, while the RFRC STR3 is purpose built for the Bosch Solution 6000 platform, supporting higher capacity and enterprise sites.
The new keypad and receivers represent continued investment in modernising the Bosch Solution Series intrusion range to deliver improvements in user experience, system responsiveness and wireless performance while maintaining backward compatibility and familiar installation workflows.
