VSP Bringing Access, Cloud Video, Analytics To SecTech Roadshow This May!

VSP Bringing Access, Cloud Video, Analytics To SecTech – VSP is bringing a mix of access control, cloud video and analytics to SecTech, with a focus on tools that reduce integration friction and extend existing systems.

On the VSP stand you’ll see Aritech’s Axon access control, Wasabi cloud storage, Vortex VSaaS from Vivotek, and CountIQ analytics for Axis environments, all aimed at practical deployment and ongoing service. All these solutions are cutting edge – we’re particularly interested in CountIQ and Vortex is a cracker.

PERMACONN

On the access control side, Aritech’s Axon-256AU controller supports 8 doors out of the box and scales via stackable CDC4 expansion modules, giving installers a clean path to larger systems without redesign. Native OSDP support ensures secure communication with HID Signo readers, while a web-based interface simplifies configuration and commissioning.

Meanwhile, UltraSync adds subscription-free cloud connectivity for remote diagnostics, live event monitoring and push notifications.

VSP is backing the platform with Level 1 certification training delivered through local branches, including lifetime certification and access to discounted starter kits.

“Axon is about taking friction out of installs and giving integrators a system that scales cleanly,” says Zaki Wazir, managing director of Video Security Products.

On the cloud side, Wasabi provides scalable storage tuned for surveillance workloads. Surveillance Cloud is suited to long-term archiving, while Hot Cloud Storage supports active access to video.

Both options support hybrid deployments, allowing existing NVR and DVR investments to remain in place while extending capacity into the cloud. The approach is straightforward: maintain what works on site, add offsite scale where it makes sense.

Vortex by Vivotek is a cloud-based VSaaS platform, combining camera management, storage and analytics in a single environment accessible via browser or app. We were particularly impressed with Vortex last year and the latest iteration is certain to be a significant step forward.

AI-driven detection supports people, vehicles and intrusion events, with push notifications and remote system health monitoring across multiple sites. The hybrid architecture supports staged migration, rather than forcing a full shift to cloud.

CountIQ rounds out the stand as a cloud analytics platform designed to replace Axis Store Reporter. Developed by DDI Labs, it maintains compatibility with existing Axis data flows while adding improved analytics and automation. For sites approaching end of life on Store Reporter, it offers a direct path forward without rebuilding the system.

“A lot of customers want to keep the systems they’ve invested in and extend them intelligently,” Wazir says. “That’s the thread running through what we’re showing at SecTech Roadshow this year.”
