City Of Perth Awards $A5 Million In Security Contracts – City of Perth has awarded security, hostile vehicle mitigation and electronic security maintenance contracts worth more than $5 million to Ace Security and Event Services, Event Safety Management and North Star Security.
The largest contract, worth $2.308 million, was awarded to Ace Security and Event Services for security services covering City of Perth events, Perth Town Hall and City of Perth Library.
Ace Security and Event Services is a Perth-based security and event services provider established in 2008, providing security officers, crowd controllers and event services across Western Australia.
A second contract worth $1.555 million was awarded to Event Safety Management for the design of event traffic management plans and hostile vehicle mitigation plans, along with implementation of HVM treatment services.
Perth-based Event Safety Management specialises in HVM, traffic management and event safety, including consultation, planning, equipment sourcing, installation and management of HVM measures. The company also provides traffic management planning and design services.
Finally, North Star Security was awarded a $1.144 million contract covering CCTV, access control, duress alarms and security systems maintenance.
North Star will provide preventative and ongoing maintenance of City of Perth’s citywide CCTV surveillance systems and associated equipment. The scope also includes supply, installation, programming, adjustment, calibration, testing and commissioning required to maintain systems and rectify faults.
North Star Security is a Perth electronic security integrator established in 1998. The company designs, installs and maintains CCTV, access control, alarms, monitoring, intercom and communications systems, with experience across government, commercial, industrial and high-security applications.
City of Perth is the local government authority covering the Perth CBD and surrounding inner-city precincts and is responsible for major civic facilities, public spaces and events, including Perth Town Hall and City of Perth Library.
