This Dallmeier network camera has a 1/2.5-inch 5 megapixel CMOS image sensor and supports both standard and high definition (720p, 1080p, 3 MP) resolutions. Enhanced image quality can be achieved by means of numerous control functions such as AWB, AGC and slow shutter. Power supply can be via PoE or 12V DC.
Other features of the Dallmeier DF4900HD include pure digital signal processing, high sensitivity of 0.2 lux at F1.2 in the presence of 50IRE, Day/Night switching and a frame rate up to 30 fps.
There’s H.264 and MJPEG video compression, simultaneous dual or tri-streaming, noise suppression, alarm notification via email and FTP image upload, an integrated local video memory SDHC card slot, and DIN EN 50130-4 compliance.
Besides the box camera, Dallmeier also offers a 3 megapixel high-definition dome camera, the DDF4900HDV. This vandal-resistant camera has a megapixel vari-focal lens (F1.8/ f=4-10mm) and is available as in-ceiling mount and surface mount variant.
