THE event is always a delight with some great sailing enhanced by the event’s staunch support of the RIDBC Alice Betteridge School for children with a sensory disability and an intellectual disability. Last year the event raised more than $7000 that was put towards computer access equipment for children who are hearing or vision impaired, orwho have an intellectual disability.“It’s a pleasure to support the Alice Betteridge School again in 2011,” Pacific Communciations’ NSW state manager Scott Myles said. “This is a great cause and we’re looking forward to sharing a BBQ with the school kids and all our dedicated crews.”Events with real social merit are few and far between in the local security industry and Pacific Communications deserves real credit for its long term support of the RIDBC Alice Betteridge School.
