Overall, IR, which saw its earnings go up 53 per cent in 2004 to $US1.2 billion, had a net $US1.1 billion profit in 2005 on revenue of $US10.6 billion. Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies, which includes such brands as Recognition Systems and Locknetics, had sales of $US2.1 billion in 2005 compared to $US1.8 billion the year before.
