FIJI National Provident Fund, which is 100 per cent owner of the $USD190 million, 5-Star, 250-room Momi Bay Resort, says the precinct is to be expanded and when completed, management services will be required, including management of comprehensive electronic security systems.
As part of the master planning of the 20-hectare Momi precinct into the future, FNPF is now progressing with to construct a 3500-seat conference and exhibition Centre (CEC) within the precinct. FNPF will also be constructing a casino adjacent to the CEC under a staged construction program, with priority for the completion of the CEC by December 2018 and the casino by 2019.
The major description of duties and responsibilities of any operator working in conjunction and partnership with FNPF is as follows;
a. Event Management (Conventions, Exhibitions, Events, Weddings, Set-up and Bump-out)
b. Hospitality and Catering (Food and Beverage, Event Catering, Bars and Refreshment)
c. Space Management (Room and Space Booking and Management)
d. Audio and Visual IT (Management, support and maintenance)
e. Facility Management (Cleaning, Security, Parking, Waste disposal)
f. Maintenance Management (HVAC, Fire Protection, Electrical, Plumbing
g. Facilities Emergency Management (Training, Planning, Audits)
In establishing a suitable partner, we are seeking Proposals from reputable Conference Facility Management Companies and their offerings and request submissions that must as a minimum contain the following information;
I. Corporate profile
II. Financial information
III. Proposed brand for the conference facility and Casino
IV. Proposed indicative term sheet
V. Past Experience and success with managing a conference facility and/or convention centre.
VI. Points of difference on offerings
VII. Investment success in models being offered
VIII. Any other relevant information
Preference will be given to interested parties with proven relevant experience and background with demonstrated financial capacity to enter into a working arrangement with FNPF. Information package will be submitted on request from the contact below.
FNPF are open to Operators who can operate the CEC and casino jointly or separately. Parties who wish to invest directly may indicate their preference.
