THE release of the new EliteX keypad and recent firmware upgrades has delivered a 30 per cent increase in Inception sales over the last quarter, according to CSD, which is responding to improved economies of scale with reduced-price starter kits that will save installers 15 per cent.
Inception is a next generation access control product featuring a user-friendly web browser based interface and support for modern technologies such as USB, Wi-Fi, and IP monitoring.
“We are definitely seeing a shift in the market away from the first generation of access control products that were developed 25 years ago with installers and end users demanding modern user-friendly products,” said Mark Edwards, CSD’s general manager of products and marketing
“The increase in sales has also seen a large demand for product training so Inner Range have created a self-paced, online training course that can be accessed from the Inner Range website. In addition, face-to-face training is being conducted every week at the CSD branches around the country."
As of Monday October 9, Inner Range and CSD will be releasing new Inception Starter Kits that will see the price of basic inception kits reduce by 15 per cent.
“The increase in demand for Inception has delivered some economies of scale that we can now pass onto our installers,” said Inner Range’s new CEO Peter Krincevski.
