LENDLEASE is seeking expressions of interest for the supply an installation of electrical equipment including power, lighting, communications, security, CCTV and earthing systems across 27 stations on South Australia’s Gawler rail line.
The scope of works includes the installation of overhead wiring, masts and gantries, a new signalling system, an automatic train protection system and a new fibre optic cable to support communications across the 42km distance of the Gawler line.
Lendlease is in the process of delivering Stage 1 of the Gawler Rail Electrification Project, designed to deliver faster, safer and more reliable rail services for the northern suburbs of Adelaide.
The Gawler line carries more than 17,000 passengers per day, making it one of Adelaide’s busiest.
The tender process closes on April 11, 2018.
