University of Canberra is seeking experienced services providers to submit an expression of interest to provide security integrated security management services.
A safe working and learning environment on campus serves to support UC’s strategic plan of promoting an overall exceptional student, staff, and visitors experience. The provision of good, reliable, and capable security systems, and guarding services reduces personal risks to UC staff, students, and visitors, as well as risks to UC buildings, grounds and physical assets enhancing wellbeing and fostering an enriched environment for working, learning, and living.
According to the tender, the overall objective of this approach to market is to identify a Service Provider who can demonstrate their expertise and capability to provide a multi-discipline service which will include physical and electronic security systems, and security manpower.
University of Canberra has around 1000 staff supporting around 17,000 students. The university has one campus, located in the suburb of Bruce, which covers 290 acres of buildings, roads and access routes. There are around 30 buildings, each dedicated to a particular discipline of learning or faculty, arranged around the main concourse.
