Hunter Water Corporation is seeking a vehicle tracking system, as well as a fleet devices upgrade, for its large fleet of vehicles.
Hunter Water has approximately 166 motorised (vehicles and trucks), 20 mobile plant (excavators, backhoes, tractors) and 61 non-motorised (trailers) assets in its vehicle fleet.
To effectively track and manage these assets, Hunter Water needs to enable the following capabilities:
* Realtime tracking of motorised and non-motorised assets including visibility of asset locations
* Individual man-down pendants for transmission of duress alarms; and dashcams.
To provide continued support as well as safety improvements, Hunter Water is tendering for the procurement of an asset tracking and telematics hardware and software solution and ongoing 24/7 services which support the requirements detailed in this Request for Tender.
Hunter Water is a state-owned corporation providing drinking water, wastewater, recycled water and some stormwater services to 500,000 people in the Lower Hunter Region in New South Wales, Australia.
