The PG9985 senses the presence of water to signal potential flooding. The transmitter unit is installed at a higher level on the wall with the probe located on the ground.
The supervised probe has a pair of contacts in close proximity and the presence of water allows a circuit to be completed, triggering an alarm event.
The PG9985 PowerG Flood Detector is equipped with a visible link quality LED indicator on the wireless transmitter, so installers can choose the optimal location for installation.
