BGW Technologies senior product manager Stanley EL Komala is heading over to ISC West next week to meet with suppliers for the first time in 3 years, as well as to check out the latest technologies and new trends.
“Thanks to the disruptions of COVID-19, we haven’t seen many of our overseas suppliers for 2-3 years, which is really rare for us” said Robert Meachem, GM for BGW Technologies.
“Zoom calls and virtual trade shows are never the same as seeing people face to face and or touching live working products. At the heart of our success is people and products, and the ISC West show is an event that brings these things together in one location where most of our key suppliers will all be at the same time.”
According to Meachem BGW Technologies is keen to explore see the next phase in the development of the AI space, in particular at the edge in video.
“We are also eager to see the ongoing development and success stories of cloud in both video and smart home/intrusion and how this could be replicated in Australia – we will be listening out for any emerging product or business model trends that have not yet found their way to Australia.”
ISC West is well known for previewing or launching new products with thousands of ettendees and hurdreds of exhibitors and brands and over 250+ product categories with solutions covering access control, biometrics, video surveillance, IoT-enabled devices, IT & cyber security, public safety, drones and robotics, and more.
“I’m excited to be catching up to our suppliers again and seeing all the new products coming down the line in 2022, said El Komala.
“I have really missed the face-to-face interaction of the trade shows and international supplier meetings and already have 3 days of back-to-back meetings with an enormous amount of enthusiasm from our suppliers to meet up again after such a long time apart due to COVID.”
