♦ Southern Grampians Council Seeks IVA – Southern Grampians Shire Council is seeking to partner with a forward-thinking supplier to implement a CCTV analytics solution to capture vehicle and pedestrian usage data leveraging SGSC’s existing CCTV network.

This RFQ is to implement the initial phase of the analytic solution with the following objectives – to capture usage data of vehicle movements through Hamilton leveraging 2 existing CCTV cameras and at a minimum, to be able to break down a count of vehicles by types and direction of travel.

The system needs to be able to discern cars, trucks (broken down by B-Doubles and others), caravans and motorhomes, as well as capturing pedestrian usage data leveraging 3 CCTV cameras at Hamilton CBD locations including Gray Street, Brown Street and Dunkeld Visitors Information Centre forecourt.

Shire of Southern Grampians is a local government area in the Barwon region in south-western Victoria. It covers an area of 6654 square kilometres and includes the towns of Coleraine, Hamilton, Dunkeld and Penshurst.
