Is Accesia Integrated Access and AI Hub A Glimpse Of The Future?
Accesia Integrated Access and AI Hub – A winner at ISC West recently was the Accesia Integrated Access and AI Hub, a compact, enterprise-grade access and analytics control unit designed to streamline commissioning, monitoring, and management in secure environments.
Accesia AI Security Hub integrates multiple functions into a single enclosure, including access control, sensor aggregation, power delivery, and advanced AI video analytics.
The integrated NVIDIA-based AI module supports analytics for up to 8 IP cameras. Detection capabilities include tailgating, loitering, and face recognition. AI data processing occurs locally, enabling quick response and reduced network load. The unit is cyber-hardened to protect credential data and supports real-time analysis.
According to the manufacturer the hub is easy to install and supports Bluetooth commissioning and configuration, including in offline scenarios. The system features built-in smart health monitoring to reduce routine maintenance time and ensure continuous operational oversight. Physical specifications include a 422 x 325 x 113mm footprint and a total weight of 8kg excluding the battery.
Access control is supported via a 4-door controller built into the unit. Power output is flexible, delivering a maximum of 60W when the AI module is not installed and 44W with the module in place. Battery backup is supported via a 12V sealed lead acid battery, such as the Yuasa NP12-12G, with output durations of up to 3 hours at 24W or 1 hour at 60W.
Input and output circuits accommodate standard and DEOL (double end-of-line) resistor configurations. Inputs without DEOL have a maximum closed-loop resistance of 500 Ohms and an open-loop minimum of 500 kOhms. With DEOL resistors (2.2 kOhms 1 per cent), thresholds are defined between 2.1 and 2.3 kOhms for closed and 4.2 to 4.6 kOhms for open conditions.
Power input is 100 240 VAC, 50/60Hz at 3A, and the maximum cable run length is 100 metres. Dry contact outputs support switching at up to 30V and 5A. Standby power performance is rated Level II for 60W output and Level III for 24W.
Certifications include UL 294 and UL 293 performance levels, with Level I for destructive attack, Level II for line security, and Level IV for endurance. The system also meets SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NDAA compliance standards, with options for selecting data jurisdiction.
