ADT Security Deploys Avigilon Alta Video, Access Control And Intercom At Its Murarrie Warehouse As A Demonstration Project In Partnership With Sektor And Motorola Solutions.

ADT Security Deploys Avigilon Alta Video – ADT Security is putting its cloud-first strategy into practice with an integrated Avigilon Alta demonstration deployment at its warehouse facility in Murarrie, Queensland.

Delivered in partnership with key Alta supplier Sektor, the system brings video surveillance, access control and intercom into a single cloud-managed interface with no on-site servers to maintain. Importantly for ADT, it delivers a live environment in which to demonstrate the practical benefits of unified cloud security to multisite and enterprise customers.

The project reflects the direction being driven by Collin Keeton, ADT Security’s national sales manager – a multi-site strategy supported by cloud solutions. Having overseen major multi-site integrations of the Alta solution for ADT across Queensland, Keeton now leads ADT’s newly established national vertical for customers requiring scalable, repeatable and consistently delivered security across multiple locations.

A Unified Cloud Platform

The Murarrie deployment combines Alta video, access control and intercom hardware on one platform. A 4-door Alta access kit and Alta reader-keypad secure key entry points, while an Alta Video Intercom Reader Pro supports visitor and contractor access at the door.

Alta Access gives ADT centralised control of users, doors, schedules and permissions without relying on a traditional on-site access control server. Administrators can add or remove users, change access rights and review events remotely, while cloud-based management helps standardise configuration across sites and reduces the burden of maintaining separate local systems.

Mobile credentials are another important benefit. ADT prioritised hardware compatible with Apple Wallet credentials as it works towards a consistent credentialing model across its facilities. This allows authorised users to carry a secure credential on a device they already use, reducing dependence on physical cards and simplifying credential issue, replacement and revocation.

Because Alta Access is unified with video and intercom, door events can be investigated alongside associated footage and visitor activity from the same interface. This gives operators faster context around access events, improves auditability and provides a clearer operational picture than separate, siloed systems.

Cloud Video Across The Warehouse

Video coverage is delivered by Alta bullet, dome and multisensor cameras with infrared and onboard storage, supported by pendant wall mounts and lens domes selected for the warehouse environment.

A 360-degree camera mounted on a dropper pole provides broad floor coverage, giving ADT end-to-end visibility through the same cloud interface used for access and intercom management. The design removes the complexity of local recording servers while supporting faster scaling, remote administration and a simpler maintenance profile.

“Cloud is no longer a future direction for this industry – it’s the direction of the industry,” says Keeton. “The market is moving away from on-premise servers and siloed systems towards unified, cloud-native platforms that give operators real-time visibility and control from anywhere. Our warehouse deployment is a live demonstration site and a proof point for our customers.”

According to Terry Corsar, business development manager at Sektor, the Murarrie deployment highlights the value of close collaboration between distributor, integrator and technology manufacturer.

“ADT has shown genuine leadership in adopting cloud-managed security and in demonstrating how video, access control and intercom can operate as one unified platform,” Corsar says.

“The strength of this project comes from the partnership between ADT, Sektor and Motorola Solutions, supported by technology that is scalable, easy to manage and well suited to multisite customers. Murarrie gives customers the opportunity to see those benefits operating in a real environment rather than as a theoretical concept.”

Conclusion

ADT’s Murarrie deployment demonstrates how video, access control and intercom can be consolidated into a single cloud-native security environment.

For access control, the benefits include centralised administration, rapid credential changes, mobile credential support, stronger event auditability and the ability to link door activity directly with video and intercom information.

For ADT, the project is a working model of the cloud-managed security architecture Keeton and his national team are taking to multisite and enterprise customers. His role spans strategy and execution across sales, operations, delivery and vendor partnerships, with a focus on cloud-first technology, managed services and repeatable deployment models.

The project also demonstrates the value of a coordinated vendor partnership, with ADT, Sektor and Motorola Solutions combining technical capability, deployment experience and cloud-native technology to create a repeatable model for future customer projects.
