Alarm Bells At Perth Zoo

Perth Zoo is a 41-acre zoological park in South Perth, Western Australia with a team of around 250 that welcomes 750,000 visitors each year. The zoo opened in 1898 and houses around 1258 animals of 164 species, as well as an extensive botanical collection.

Perth Zoo has 3 main zones – Australian Walkabout, Asian Rainforest and African Savannah – with a few minor exhibit areas (Lesser Primates, South American birds, Main Lake, Galapagos Tortoises).

There are multiple buildings and structures across the site that require varying levels of security. This tender closes on December 6 – you can find out more here.
