Alarm.com Acquires Video Monitoring Provider – Alarm.com, distributed locally by BGW Technologies, has taken a majority-stake acquisition of CHeKT, the develop of a cloud platform for remote video monitoring (RVM) services.
CHeKT’s solution ius an enterprise-ready platform built around subscription-based remote video monitoring services enabling central stations and service providers to deliver proactive monitoring solutions to commercial and residential subscribers.
CHeKT’s services include an intuitive control room operator interface which enables proactive video verification and response capabilities and with the integration of CHeKT, Alarm.com’s service provider partners will be able to deliver an RVM solution.
Alarm.com said CHeKT will continue to operate independently and the Alarm.com video solution and the OpenEye enterprise video solution will be fully integrated into CHeKT’s control room software.
