ASSA ABLOY Acquires US Padlock Manufacturer PACLOCK
ASSA ABLOY has acquired Pacific Lock Company, a US manufacturer of padlocks and security hardware, expanding its product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities in North America.
Founded in 1998, PACLOCK employs around 40 people, with its headquarters and manufacturing facility located in Valencia, California. The company specialises in padlocks and customised security hardware for customers requiring solutions beyond standard product offerings.
PACLOCK will become part of the Residential Business Segment within ASSA ABLOY’s Americas Division.

According to Lucas Boselli, executive vice president and head of ASSA ABLOY's Americas Division, PACLOCK's US manufacturing operations and experience developing customised security products complement the group's existing business.
“PACLOCK is recognized for delivering high-quality security products that combine reliability, durability, and innovation, backed by US-based manufacturing and exceptional customer service,” Boselli said.
“We're excited to welcome PACLOCK to ASSA ABLOY and expand our ability to provide customers with high-quality, tailored security solutions that meet their evolving needs.”
PACLOCK reported sales of approximately $US17 million in 2025, with a strong EBIT margin. ASSA ABLOY expects the acquisition to contribute positively to earnings per share from the outset. The purchase price was not disclosed.
