Balonne Shire Council Seeks Flood Monitoring Cameras.

Balonne Shire Council Seeks Flood Monitoring – Balonne Shire Council has gone to tender seeking a flood camera monitoring project.

While the tender release doesn’t say, the camera system is likely to be required to monitor the Balonne River at the town of St George about 500km South-West of Brisbane. Other towns in the council areas include Bollon, Dirranbandi, Hebel, Mungindi, Nindigully and Thallon.

In the release, Balonne Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for the delivery of infrastructure, such as road conditions, information signs and cameras as prescribed in in the Contract, “Annexure Part E – Scope of Works”.

Tenderers are requested to put all queries and requests for information through the vendor panel forum portal – the tender closes January 10, 2025.
