Banana Shire Council Seeks Solar CCTV – Banana Shire Council in Queensland has released a tender calling for the supply, installation and maintenance of solar-powered CCTV systems at 9 waste transfer stations across the region.

The systems are intended to enhance surveillance and improve monitoring of activity at the sites, which are critical infrastructure for the Shire’s waste management operations.

The council is targeting experienced contractors capable of delivering a complete solar-powered surveillance solution, including maintenance support. Submissions close at 5pm on November 13, 2025.
