BAT-Connect 5G Ready Communicator – BAT-Connect from Alula is a universal communicator, equipped with LTE-M cellular technology and automatic panel detection, allowing alarm installers to complete more installations with a smartphone-controlled experience while skipping the 4G sunset.
BAT-Connect utilizes LTE-M technology providing immunity to typical cellular sunsets, auto-bus connection provides auto programming – eliminates programming errors and saves significant time (installation times as low as 10 minutes) and has redundant communications with auto-switching (IP and cellular).
The result is that the system is able to modernize legacy security systems – enabling mobile control and giving a functional and reliable legacy solution the appearance of the latest security and home automation systems.
BAT-Connect delivers more than just security – it allows installers to add cameras, smart devices (automation) and touchscreens to legacy systems, with all devices on a single user interface called Alula Interactive.
For installers the unit offers on-demand activation/deactivation of cellular communications, a flexible installation process via Wi-Fi, management of all hardware from the AlulaConnect portal.
Features include a 5-year warranty on BAT-CONNECT, the IP66-rated housing has a compact size of 8.5 x 5 x 1.3 inches, weight of 284g, operating temperature of 0-50C, there are tamper activations on cover opening and wall removal and there’s an indoor cellular kit to enhance performance.
