The top end models come with 540 TVL resolution, for true likeness of colours and sharp images. This is the first time Baxall has launched a range of fixed mini-domes into the market place. Other features include smaller casing and improved sensor software for better white balance and improved installation features. The latest Baxall Vivid range of Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) will also be demonstrated. They use JPEG2000 compression technology to give picture quality at lower storage rates. There are three variants in the range (Vivid Lite, Vivid, Vivid+). Each has 6, 10, 16 camera inputs and a range of HDD size options from 80GB to 1TB. Archive options include internal CD or DVD writer; in addition, all models have a USB port on the front of the unit so a USB stick can be used to archive to.
