BGW Technologies is now distributing the Qolsys interactive security and connected home platform in Australia after signing a distribution agreement with Qolsys Inc.
“BGW Technologies will add value to Qolsys product via comprehensive training, technical support, warranty, marketing and having inventory in all our branches nationally”, said BGW Technologies Stanley El Komala, senior product manager, intrusion.
The Qolsys product takes advantage of the full range of DSC RF 433Mhz wireless devices, Z-Wave Plus devices and Alarm.com’s interactive platform which is underpinned by a 7-inch touch screen user interface. The product also includes LTE, weather widget, built in glass break, 5MP panel camera, Bluetooth disarm, dual path connectivity, photo frame feature, integrated how to use videos and loads more.
“When we first reviewed the product earlier this year, we knew it would be a game changer in terms of the product’s ability to give end users what they deserve in the intrusion and mass market connected home space,” said Robert Meachem – GM for BGW Technologies.
“Moreover, the security dealer/installer now has an opportunity to increase the value of what they are offering their customer beyond pure security and enhance the ability for gaining higher penetration in reoccurring revenue via security monitoring and the Alarm.com platform.
“The Qolsys product was recently previewed on the BGWT booth at the Sectech Roadshow during May and was a real crowd pleaser – orders for inventory have been placed with the Qolsys factory and we are happy for dealers to place orders with us to hold stock from the first shipment,” El Komala said.
