BGW Technologies Showcases AI-Ready Video

BGW Technologies Showcases AI-Ready Video Solution At Dell Technologies Forum.

BGW Technologies Showcases AI-Ready Video – BGW Technologies showcased an integrated AI-ready video solution at the annual Dell Technologies Forum.

The BGW Technologies team worked alongside Milestone Systems and i-PRO to demonstrate the combination of intelligent cameras, video management software and Dell infrastructure.

“At BGW Technologies we were super excited to join the Annual Dell Technology Forum last week,” says Mark Shannon, national product manager at BGW Technologies.

“Showcasing alongside the Milestone Systems and i-PRO teams on the BGW Technologies booth, we set out to show how AI can work together across the Dell Technologies platform by combining intelligent cameras, video management software and Dell infrastructure into one connected solution, as well as considering what that integration means for organisations looking to move AI into production.”

According to Shannon, the demonstration brought together 3 elements including i-PRO intelligent devices capturing and analysing at the edge, where the data is created; Milestone Systems video management software turning that data into insight and action; and Dell Technologies infrastructure providing the data-ready foundation that lets it all scale securely.

The demonstration was a practical example of the broader theme at this year’s Forum, that AI is no longer a single tool added at the end, but an ecosystem of intelligent devices, software and infrastructure working together across the platform,” Shannon says.

“Last year’s conversation centred on whether AI belonged in the enterprise whereas this year’s theme was AI that works, with a focus on how to make AI deliver at scale.

“Across the keynotes and sessions, a consistent message emerged: moving AI from pilots to production is the real challenge now, and the organisations that get there first will set the pace for everyone else.”

According to Shannon, several themes ran through the sessions, including scaling AI through appropriate infrastructure, governance and skills, as well as the emergence of agentic AI systems capable of making decisions, taking action and adapting.

What ran through the sessions
Four themes from the Dell Technologies Forum
The terms that kept coming up, in plain language.
01Scaling AIInfrastructure, governance and skills that let AI move out of pilots and into production.
02Agentic AISystems capable of making decisions, taking action and adapting as conditions change.
03Data-ready architectureResilient infrastructure designed to carry AI workloads rather than bolt them on.
04Sovereign AIApproaches intended to keep data, governance and compliance under the organisation’s control.

Other areas considered at the Dell Forum included infrastructure designed to support resilient, data-ready architectures and sovereign AI approaches intended to maintain organisational control of data, governance and compliance.

“Dell shared the stage with ecosystem partners including AMD, Intel, Microsoft and NVIDIA, which is a clear reminder that no single vendor solves complex solutions alone,” says Shannon.

“The value lies in how the pieces fit together, which is exactly what we set out to demonstrate on our booth.”

Anyone who wasn’t able to attend the Dell Forum can walk teams through the i-PRO, Milestone and Dell integration and discover what AI working together could look like for their operations at their local BGW Technologies branch.
