The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley is seeking tenders for the supply, installation and commissioning of a body scanning unit for the East Kimberley Regional Airport.
East Kimberley Regional Airport in Kununurra, Western Australia is a crucial piece of infrastructure supporting 80,000 passengers annually, which enables people and goods to enter or leave from the region during the wet season when roads are impassable, as well as supporting tourism and economic development.
In 2012, a major expansion of the airport was completed and opened to the public. Costing about $A9 million, it doubled the size of the facility, including a dedicated arrivals hall with baggage carousel, enlarged check-in area and improved security for the enlarged departure lounge.
The tender closes April 3, 2020. Click here for more information.
