The Bosch IP starlight 5000i (IR) dome camera complements a portfolio of fixed dome, bullet and box cameras which feature built-in Bosch Essential Video Analytics, fully configurable H.265 multi-streaming and simple installation with auto zoom/focus lens (AVF), wizard and pre-configured modes.
FLEXIDOME IP starlight 5000i IR has a 1/2.8-inch CMOS sensor, a 3-9mm automatic varifocal (AVF) IR-corrected lens, there’s LED 10 850nm high efficiency array with 45 metres range, and automatic target detection with manual override. FLEXIDOME IP starlight 5000i IR delivers colour images in the darkest of scenes at 0.02 lux and monochrome at 0.005 lux, has a dynamic range of 146 HDR (WDR is 107), and delivers video at 60 frames per second to handle unevenly lit scenes. The cameras are designed for significantly easier installation, with installer essentials included in the packaging.
Intrusion and automatic detection with alerts to improve levels of security 24/7, along with the ability to gather business statistics, such as counting the number of people who enter or leave a store while securing the entrance at the same time, trigger automatic alerts when queue numbers or specific areas exceed a certain crowd level to improve service and minimize overcrowding, or identify patterns in customer activity to optimize store layouts, experiences and sales.

Users access the camera’s features using a web browser, with the BVMS, with the free-of-charge Bosch Video Client or Video Security Client, with the video security mobile app, or via third-party software. FLEXIDOME IP starlight 5000i IR conforms to the ONVIF Profile S, ONVIF Profile G, and ONVIF Profile M specifications. Dimensions are 145 x 131mm, weight is 1102g, the housing is cast aluminium and the dome bubble is clear polycarbonate with an anti-scratch coating.
