Broome Police Station Security Upgrade Tender Released.

Broome Police Station Security Upgrade – Western Australian Department of Housing and Works has released a tender seeking a contractor to undertake a security system upgrade at Broome Police Station on behalf of the Western Australian Police Force.

The project will deliver a security system upgrade at the police station located at 7 Frederick Street, Broome. While detailed technical specifications have not been released, projects of this type typically involve upgrades to electronic security infrastructure, including intrusion detection, access control, CCTV and associated system hardware with possible integration into WAPOL’s enterprise solution.

Broome Police Station serves as a key policing facility in the Kimberley region, supporting frontline policing, emergency response and community safety across one of Western Australia’s largest and most remote areas. The station forms part of the Western Australia Police Force’s regional operational network, where reliable electronic security systems are critical to protecting personnel, facilities and operational assets.

A mandatory site inspection will be held at the station on 11 August 2026 at 9.00am. Contractors wishing to attend are required to confirm attendance and provide participant details to senior project officer Lance Haydock before the inspection.
