Busselton Water Requires Security Fencing, Sliding Electric Gates

Busselton Water in WA requires the replacement of double swinging wire mesh site access gates with garrison-style sliding electric gates, to improve site security, at water treatment plants No. 1 and 4.

In addition, at Plant 1 some internal security fencing and personnel access gates are needed, and the relocation and re-use of the existing wire mesh gates. Both sites are in use for daily operations and arrangements will be made with operators for access and advice re existing services.

Busselton Water provides water infrastructure and services to an operating area covering almost 6964sqkm. This includes the Busselton city centre, as well as nearby Port Geographe, Siesta Park, Vasse and Wonnerup, and bulk water supplies to Dunsborough.
