Central Coast Council Corporate Security Services Contract With A September 30 Release Date.
Central Coast Council Corporate Security Services Contract – Central Coast Council is preparing to establish a corporate contract for the provision of security services across its operations.
The future tender, which is expected to be released on September 30, seeks a contractor to provide security services under a corporate agreement. The preliminary tender notice provides no further details about the security scope, including whether the contract will cover guarding, patrols, alarm response, monitoring or electronic security services.
Of relevance to potential tender scope, Central Coast Council operates across a 1682 square kilometre local government area with a population of around 356,000. Its extensive asset and service portfolio includes administration and community facilities, 10 libraries, 6 leisure and aquatic centres, 3 stadiums, 77 sporting facilities, 560 parks and reserves, 101 boat ramps, wharves and jetties, as well as major water, sewer and road infrastructure.
Council’s operations are organised across community and recreation services, corporate services, environment and planning, infrastructure services, and water and sewer, giving the future corporate security contract a potentially broad operational footprint. Council also has a safe city CCTV solution, though whether this is included in the potential works is not revealed.
