City Of Gold Coast Seeks Access Control, CCTV Upgrade At 200 Sites

City of Gold Coast in Queensland has gone to tender seeking design, supply, installation, maintenance and upgrade of electronic security assets, including closed circuit television systems and access control systems, at 200 sites.

The successful contractor will be required to provide and perform the following services for access control systems, intruder alarm systems, CCTV, electric fences, motorised gates and Videofied.

The scope of works includes 2 separable portions and includes but is not limited to:

* New equipment supply and installation
* Management and preventative maintenance (PM) and services work
* Upgrades and removal
* Installation of principal supplied equipment
* Design services (minor)
* Maintenance of council’s electronic security asset register
* Daily onsite attendance to council’s control room
* Weekly/monthly reporting capabilities
* Annual condition assessment reports
* Provide software patch updates
* Provide a customer service portal.

Separable Portion 2 – supply, installation and maintenance of the City’s Safety Camera Network

Council owns and maintains approximately 700 closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras and associated equipment at locations across the Gold Coast, primarily in the public domain. All camera data in the Safety Camera Network (SCN) program are recorded 24 hours a day, 365 days per year and remotely monitored from a central control room via a network for live control, playback and export of video from the remote CCTV system. The network and systems are digital.

The scope of works includes but is not limited to the following activities:

* New CCTV and associated equipment supply and installations
* Reactive maintenance of equipment
* Managed scheduled preventative inspections, maintenance and cleaning
* Upgrades, modifications and removal
* Design services (minor)
* Maintenance of council’s electronic security asset register
* Weekly onsite attendance to council’s control room
* Fortnightly/monthly reporting capabilities
* Annual condition and inspection report
* Cyber Security updates and patches
* Provision of a customer service portal.
