College Launches Drone Degree Fullerton College – Fullerton College in California has launched a bachelor of science in drone technology and autonomous systems, with the first intake being mid-2026.
According to Fullerton College the program will “provide students with a comprehensive education in the rapidly growing field of drone technology and autonomous systems.”
The program is “designed to equip students with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in areas such as operations, management, applications and programming.
“It offers a unique combination of theory and practical experience, preparing students to lead in industries that increasingly rely on drone and autonomous technology.”
According to Jay Seidel, chairman of the Fullerton College drone technology program, drones and autonomous systems are revolutionizing and transforming industries in the college announcement.
“This new baccalaureate degree is a testament to our commitment to innovation and providing our students with the skills needed for the jobs of tomorrow,” Seidal said.
The bachelor’s degree joins Fullerton College’s drone technology program, which currently offers 2 associate degrees and 4 specialized certificates, with additional certifications under development.
