Convergint Partners With Conduent On $A1.7 Billion Ticketing System.

Convergint Partners With Conduent – A partnership of Convergint Oceania and Conduent Transportation has been selected to implement a contactless payment and account-based transport ticketing system to modernise Victoria’s myki transport ticketing solution.

Winning this $1.7 billion ticketing contract in partnership with Conduent highlights the diverse capabilities of Australia’s fastest growing security integrator.

Following trials commencing in 2024, improvements will be added to the existing payment options which will allow passengers to tap on and off with their credit or debit card, and pay for trips with a digital wallet on a smartphone or smartwatch.

Managing director of Convergint Oceania, Dean Monaghan, said the decision was a testament to the depth of talent and expertise in the Convergint Oceania team.

“As a systems integrator, Convergint works alongside a global network of partners and manufacturers to design, install, and service security, fire alarm, life safety, audio-visual, and building automation solutions for enterprise customers,” Monaghan said.
