Kent Shire Council is seeking supply and installation of automated gate system, remote access, CCTV security for access to Nyabing and Pingrup tipsites.

For each site council is seeking supply and installation of 6.5m wide x 1.8m automatic gate systems, supply and installation of solar power supply with battery backup to operate systems, supply and installation of CCTV that is located to be able to visually identify waste loads for disposal in rear vehicles or trailers and vehicle number plates, supply and installation of secure remote access and monitoring/communications systems to allow offsite control of gate functions and site monitoring of gate entry point, supply and installation of swipe card/tag system to control access to site and automatic gate opening when exiting, supply of 600 access swipe card/tags.

At Pingrup the gated entry to be inset about 15m from main boundary fenceline, the entry opening at main boundary fenceline is to be 10.8m wide – this will require removal of 4.7m of existing fencing and posts and gates. The opening width at new gate entry point is to be 10.5m wide (6.5m gate and 2m fencing each side), and the job requires supply and installation of approximately 31m of 1.8m high chainmesh security fencing and post to match existing fences.

Fully operational turnkey tipsite with remote controlled access security system with user friendly access to entry data and CCTV footage, all equipment to be fully tested and commissioned on completion before acceptance of practical completion, supply of all manuals and warranties (hardcopy and electronic), a defects bond won’t be required on the undertaking to attend site or respond to defects/issues with 24 hours or other agreed reasonable timeframe – training and operations handover to be included.
