Wagga Wagga City Council is undertaking an upgrade of the Anderson Oval Amenities. The general works are to include a new building and new electrical work, as well as the installation of CCTV.

The tender doesn’t mention access control and alarms, but for a shared sporting facility with an amenities block comprising toilets, changerooms and a canteen, it’s hard to imagine door control of some sort doesn’t figure into the electrical component of this work.

Anderson Oval is a junior sportsground located in Mount Austin. The oval is primarily used for AFL and cricket competition matches and training. The AFL goal posts stay up all year round, with a synthetic cricket pitch in the middle of the oval, sports lighting is also available on the oval. The site has a netball court which is used for matches & training.

This tender closes on December 1 – you can find out more here.
