Crown Secures Keiki Learning Centre With Akuvox, Hikvision, Tecom and Permaconn.

Crown Secures Keiki Learning Centre – Crown Security is nearing completion of a new early learning centre project, continuing a long-standing relationship with Keiki Early Learning Centres spanning more than a decade.

The project, which deploys solutions from Akuvox, Hikvision, Aritech and Permaconn, brings together intercom, video surveillance, intrusion detection and access control, with systems integrated to support site-wide visibility and response.

At the perimeter and entry points, Crown has deployed an Akuvox video intercom solution. The system provides audio and video communication at entrances, supporting remote answering, mobile app connectivity and integration. This allows staff to verify visitors before granting access, with video streams available across connected devices.

Video surveillance across the site is handled by Hikvision cameras, which deliver continuous coverage of internal and external areas. The Hikvision cameras deliver high-resolution imaging, wide dynamic range and low light capability for challenging lighting conditions internally and in underground carparks, allowing staff to monitor activity and review footage as required.

Intrusion detection and access control are managed via Aritech’s Tecom system, providing control over doors, user permissions and alarm events. Integrating access control, intrusion and automation functions, the system enables coordinated responses such as alarm activation, door control and event logging. The system includes a lockdown button allowing staff to secure the site instantly when faced with a threat.

Supporting the system is the Permaconn’s capable PM54 4G monitoring solution, which provides secure communications and video verification capability. The unit enables alarm signals and associated video to be transmitted to a monitoring centre, allowing operators to verify incidents in real time and respond appropriately.

According to Saverio Galanti, general manager at Crown Security, the solution reflects both evolving technology and regulatory requirements.

“We’re almost there with the completion of this beautiful new early learning centre,” Galanti said. “With technology advancing and changes in legislation, our team provided bespoke solutions to ensure the safety of children, staff and peace of mind for parents.”

“This comprehensive solution has been beautifully executed across a complex application by a team of talented legends,” Galanti said.

Crown Security is a Perth-based systems integrator delivering electronic security solutions across commercial, government and residential sectors, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and intercom systems.

Crown Security has worked with Keiki Early Learning Centres for more than 10 years, with the latest project continuing a focus on integrated security outcomes across the group’s sites.
