ICT Showcasing Unified Protege GX Platform At SecTech 2026, positioning it as a unified approach to access control, intrusion detection and building automation.

ICT Showcasing Unified Protege GX Platform At SecTech 2026 – ICT Protege GX is designed as a single platform that brings multiple security functions together, supported by more than 50 integrations spanning video management, biometrics, wireless locks, lift systems, intercoms and identity management. The system is built to integrate with existing infrastructure, avoiding the need for wholesale system replacement.

According to ICT, the platform is intended to reduce the operational complexity that can come from managing multiple standalone systems, while predictable licensing, including door-based caps, provides cost certainty as systems scale. Installers, integrators, end users and security consultants are invited to see the platform at SecTech NZ in Auckland June 9, Wellington June 11 and Christchurch June 16.

Also on show is the Protege GX Web App, a browser-based interface that extends system control across devices. The web app provides access to system management through a modern UI, designed to support multi-site environments and simplify day-to-day operation.

According to ICT, the web app has been developed to streamline workflows and reduce the likelihood of operator error when managing larger or more complex deployments.

ICT is also demonstrating Protege Access+, a mobile application that combines mobile credentials with remote system control. The app allows users to manage sites, monitor activity and control access from a smartphone, with support for custom branding and a dashboard-style interface for quick navigation.

According to ICT, the aim of Protege Access+ is to give operators and end users more flexibility in how they interact with their systems, particularly in distributed environments where remote access is increasingly important.

Supporting the platform is ICT’s TSL reader range, available in mini, standard and extra formats, with optional keypads and a choice of black or white finishes. The readers feature configurable LED indicators with 16 colour options, RS-485 connectivity with AES-256 encryption, and an IP65 rating for indoor and outdoor deployment.

The range supports DESFire smart cards, Bluetooth and NFC, with ICT also pointing to ongoing development around digital wallet integration for Apple and Google devices.

According to ICT, the combination of hardware, software and mobile capability is intended to provide a forward-looking access control solution that can adapt as credential technologies continue to evolve.
