Crown Security Wins Weir Minerals — Crown Security has been awarded the electronic security contract for the new Weir Minerals facility in Hazelmere, Western Australia.
The site, located at 391 Stirling Crescent, will incorporate a 7500-square-metre warehouse, workshop, and 2-storey office on a 3.6-hectare site, with an overall built footprint of 14,443 square metres. The project is being led by Hesperia and constructed by Q Design + Construct, with the electrical and communications works delivered by Transit Group WA.

According to Crown Security general manager Saverio Galanti, the team is pleased to be securing such a significant development in the state’s industrial sector.
“At Crown Security, we are super pumped to announce that we have been awarded the contract for all electronic security works at the new Weir Minerals site here in Western Australia,” Galanti said.
The Weir Minerals development is targeting a 5-Star Green Star rating and includes infrastructure to support electric vehicle charging and energy-efficient services. Transit Group WA is managing electrical design and engineering, custom switchboards, underground infrastructure, and advanced lighting, communications and power systems.
Meanwhile, Crown Security, Weir Minerals’ incumbent security provider, is handling the integrated security solution for the new facility via direct contract with the client.
Based in Western Australia, Crown Security is a systems integration company offering electronic security solutions for commercial, industrial, government and domestic applications. The company provides design, installation, maintenance, and monitoring of access control, CCTV, intruder detection and intercom systems.
