Danny Berkovic Leaving Securitas

Danny Berkovic Leaving Securitas – Danny Berkovic will leave Securitas March 2023 around 12 years after founding Fredon Security then leading Securitas as country president after the Fredon acquisition.

Thea Emetlis will be appointed as new country president from January, 2023, and Berkovic will support her transition into the new role through Q1 next year, after which he will remain connected to Securitas in an advisory capacity.

Securitas divisional president of Africa, Middle East and Asia-Pacific, Axel Sundén thanked Berkovic for his contribution to Securitas Australia and said he would be sadly missed.

“Danny joined Securitas in 2019 through the acquisition of Fredon Security, at that point the leading electronic security integrator in Australia, and he has played an integral role in growing and strengthening Securitas Australia – we wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” Sundén said.

“I am delighted to promote a leader internally in Thea Emeltis, a great example of the strength of our people,” Sundén said.

“Under Thea’s leadership, will continue our journey in Australia towards becoming a world-leading security solutions partner with outstanding technology and expertise.”

Emeltis joined Securitas in 2017 and is currently the senior vice president for legal and human respources. She has previously had executive roles in the Securitas guarding business and has led the company’s finance function.
