Dave Ward Retires From ICT – Dave Ward, ICT regional sales manager for Western and South Australia, has retired.

“It is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement,” Ward said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to have provided security services to so many companies and individuals over the years.

“I’d like to express my sincere appreciation to all our customers for entrusting me to assist them with their security needs. Your loyalty and support have been invaluable.

“To the staff at ICT – thanks for your hard work and commitment to providing excellent service. It’s been a pleasure to work with such a dedicated and professional team. I’m confident ICT will continue to lead the industry by continuing to develop intuitive high security products and systems.

“Thank you all for the memories and for being a part of my journey.”

ICT’s Richard Hawker said the ICT team congratulated Ward on his retirement and acknowledged his many years of dedicated service to the security industry, his customers, and his colleagues at ICT.

“Dave has been the point man for our Australian team and had a reputation as the man with the answers for all technical questions from customers and co-workers,” Hawker said. “He continued to achieve year-on-year growth in his territory and has left a high benchmark for his colleagues.

“Dave has been a respected contributor to the security industry for 30+ years, first as an installer before moving into sales. In his role, he helped numerous businesses adopt electronic security, unlocking growth opportunities for his customers. Whether armed with a screwdriver and a DIN Rail, or a PowerPoint presentation, Dave built lasting relationships with those around him.

“Dave was also instrumental in helping establish the ICT Australia team – from supporting the sales team members that came onboard, to establishing the Australian office and overseeing operations and the people that came with it,” Hawker said.
