Defence Seeks Fences And Gates For HMAS Stirling – Australia’s Department of Defence has released a tender for upgrade at HMAS Stirling in Western Australia, including replacement of fencing and gates.
The tender covers investigations, demolition, system replacement and the supply and installation of new perimeter fencing and gates. Associated works include ICT, electrical, civil, structural, gas, mechanical, fire systems and hydraulic services.
While the project includes multiple engineering disciplines, the replacement of perimeter fencing and gates forms a key element of the scope, supporting physical security at Australia’s principal naval base on the west coast and likely aligns with AUKUS upgrades.
