Satel Integra 256 Plus Alarm Panel Combines Alarms, Access Control, Automation.
Satel Integra 256 Plus Alarm Panel – Satel’s Integra 256 Plus alarm panel is designed for large applications and combines intrusion detection, access control, building automation and system integration.
This a powerful and capable security solution. For a start the system supports up to 256 wired zones or 240 zones in hybrid wired and wireless configurations. Integra 256 also allows systems to be divided into up to 32 partitions and 8 ‘subsystems’, enabling a single system to operate as multiple independently managed alarm systems.
According to Satel, this architecture is suited to sites such as office complexes, retail centres, government facilities and multi-tenanted buildings where separate users require independent control while sharing common infrastructure.
As well as intrusion detection, the platform incorporates access control and building automation functions. It integrates with Satel’s ACCO NET access control system, supports KNX building automation using the INT-KNX-2 interface and offers open communication protocols for integration with third-party systems. Logic functions, programmable timers and macro commands allow installers to automate building functions alongside security tasks.
The system supports multiple communication paths using the built-in PSTN communicator together with optional Ethernet and cellular modules. When combined with ETHM-1 Plus and INT-GSM LTE or INT-GSM communicators, the control panel supports dual path reporting, using cellular communications as a backup to Ethernet to maintain alarm reporting if one path fails.
Monitoring, SMS messaging, voice notifications, email alerts, push notifications and remote management are supported depending on the communications modules installed.
Configuration and servicing are undertaken using SATEL’s DLOADX software, allowing installers to configure, diagnose and maintain systems locally or remotely. Day-to-day supervision is handled through GUARDX software, which provides live system status, event monitoring, user management and IP camera viewing. Larger organisations can centrally manage multiple INTEGRA systems using INTEGRUM software, providing a single interface for distributed security installations across multiple sites.
The INTEGRA Plus range complies with EN 50131 Grade 3 requirements, while standard INTEGRA panels comply with EN 50131 Grade 2. SATEL says every control panel undergoes multi-stage environmental, functional and hardware testing during manufacture.
Alongside the flagship INTEGRA 256 Plus, the family includes the INTEGRA 24, 32, 64 and 128, the INTEGRA 64 Plus and 128 Plus, and the INTEGRA 128-WRL with integrated cellular communications and wireless device support. The comparison across the range allows installers to select a controller sized for applications ranging from small commercial sites through to enterprise-scale security systems.
