Department of Housing and Works Seeks New CCTV System – Western Australia’s Department of Housing and Works is seeking a contractor to design, supply, install, program, commission and maintain a new IP-based CCTV system at 10 Adelaide Terrace, East Perth.

The 236-room building, recently acquired by the Housing Authority, is being converted from serviced apartments into long-term residential rental accommodation for social and affordable housing.

The existing security system, which includes 8 PACOM DVRs, a Hikvision ‘TVR’ and 82 analogue CCTV cameras, has been deemed end-of-life and unfit for the building’s new use. The new digital system will be implemented as part of broader re-purposing works currently underway.

The successful contractor will manage the full CCTV scope of works, coordinating with other service trades, attending project meetings, and delivering builder’s works such as painting, patching, fire rating, and structural support. Project documentation, user training, and maintenance throughout the defect liability period are included.

You Perth installers should note that the tender requires attendance at a mandatory site briefing on 30 October 2025 at 11am at Queens Riverside Q4, 10 Adelaide Terrace. RSVPs must be submitted by 10am on 29 October 2025.
