Dm’s New Bx2 Allows Hot Swapping

IF one disk fails or is removed, the other continues recording entirely unaffected. Mirroring capability also allows unlimited long-term data archiving, and permits important video data to be made available instantly to the police with no system disruption.

The popular DS2, now available with built-in CD-Writer, allows users to save images to CD at the click of a button. Each CD created includes playback software that runs automatically on a standard PC, without needing additional equipment. Available in 6, 9 and 16 channel variants, the DS2 range features a recording rate of up to 100 pictures per second. DM’s fully featured four-camera D4 DVR family now also boasts a version with built-in CD-Writer and automatic playback software. With advanced features including remote telemetry control and network viewing software for live and playback camera viewing. Also the low-cost Eco4, which is perfect for smaller commercial applications will be available with CD-Writer. External JBOD and RAID storage options will be presented as well.

Retail Solutions, the first in DM’s new line of DVRs with specific functionality to address the needs of particular market sectors, will also be on show. With a powerful keyword match facility that triggers events on suspect transactions, Retail Solutions products are saving retailers thousands of pounds a year in lost stock by providing evidential quality, digitally signed images irrefutably associated with point of sale (POS) transaction data. In extension to this line DM will be showcasing a new Banking and Casino Solution.
